The 3-D Dexter Cattle
3-D Family Farm has 27 registered Irish Dexter cows and calves. These cattle are very gentle, good mothers, and only take about half the pasture that a standard cow will need. They will produce more animal weight per acre than normal production cows. The American Dexter Cattle Association is a good source of information on this small farm breed. Of course our cattle are pasture feed antibiotic free. The Dexter cow has been used for milking, draft work, and beef over the years which made it excellent for homesteaders. We have included pictures of some of our stock for your viewing and you can check out the blood lines by going to the American Dexter Cattle Association web site and looking up the breeder #3887. Prices on the registered heifer calves are $500 for weaned bull calves, and $800 for weaned heifer calves. These calves will be available in September. We also have bred young cows for $1300 and if you wanted one of these along with its calf you could get it prior to weaning. Please contact us for additional information.
